XFiles Privacy Policy

Last updated: 11 July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how XFiles, provided by SR Apps, handles information when you use the app, including when you connect a Google Drive account.

Google Drive access

XFiles can connect to Google Drive only after you choose to sign in with Google and grant the requested permissions. This access is used to let you browse and manage files and folders in your own Google Drive from within XFiles.

Depending on the actions you choose in the app, XFiles may request permission to view file metadata and content, upload files, create folders, rename items, move items, download items, or delete items in Google Drive.

How Google user data is used

Google user data obtained through Google APIs is used only to provide the Google Drive features you request inside XFiles. XFiles does not use Google Drive data for advertising, profiling, or unrelated purposes.

Storage and sharing of Google user data

XFiles does not ask for or store your Google password. Authentication is handled by Google. Access tokens may be stored securely on your device so the app can keep your account connected. Files remain stored in your Google Drive unless you explicitly download, upload, move, rename, or delete them.

SR Apps does not sell Google user data. Google Drive data is not shared with third parties except where required to provide a feature you request, comply with law, protect users, or maintain app security.

Limited Use requirements

XFiles' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Permissions on your device

XFiles may request device storage or media permissions so you can browse and manage local files. These permissions are used only for file-management features initiated by you.

Account removal and revoking access

You can disconnect your Google account from XFiles through the app's cloud-storage account controls. You can also revoke XFiles access from your Google Account permissions page. Revoking access prevents future Google Drive access until you connect again.

Data retention

XFiles keeps only the information needed to maintain the features you use. Locally stored account tokens and cached file information are removed when you disconnect the account, clear the app's data, or uninstall the app, subject to Android and Google platform behaviour.

Security

We use reasonable technical measures to protect authentication information and app data. No electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Children

XFiles is not directed at children under the age required to manage their own Google Account in their country.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the app, its permissions, or legal requirements change. The latest version will be published on this page.
